Working with Hannah has helped my playing tremendously. She is extremely organized, patient and encouraging and her abilities as a teacher have helped me to grow as an Irish fiddler.

At first it was challenging for me to play through a set of tunes on my own, but the format of sending in videos pushed me to grow in this ability. Hannah has had many helpful suggestions about my playing, and many specific exercises to help me improve.

I have specifically learned bowing patterns, ornamentation and rhythmic improvements that I am able to incorporate into all the Irish songs that I play.

One of my goals was to really increase my repertoire so that I could participate in an Irish session, and Hannah allows me to both choose the songs I learn, and go at my own pace. By always responding promptly with a new song whenever I finish one, I have been able to add many sets to my repertoire.

I really love and benefit from being able to practice along with the videos she sends, because she has such a beautiful playing style. Overall this has been a customized learning experience that has worked really well for me.
